The sit-in has been ongoing for nine days. The movement is intensifying, and the student crowd is growing. A case of a female candidate not being selected has surfaced, sparking widespread outrage and protests on social media. He claims to have scored 299 out of 300, but was not selected.

The protesting students have stated that they will not allow any political party to share the stage. The students stated that their protest is completely non-political. Holding all political parties responsible, they stated that their protest would be entirely apolitical. The students have rejected the CID inquiry stated by the Hemant Soren government and have instead demanded a CBI probe.

On Saturday, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its youth wing, the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), staged movement over alleged irregularities in the examinations conducted by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) and the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC). During the protests, demands were raised for a CBI inquiry into allegations of paper leaks and exam-related malpractices. BJP workers demonstrated outside the collectorates in East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, and Chatra. In Jamshedpur, BJP and BJYM workers organized an ‘Aakrosh Rally’ (rally of outrage) to protest against corruption and alleged irregularities—including paper leaks—in the JPSC, JSSC, CGL, Junior Engineer, and Excise Constable recruitment examinations. The rally commenced at the BJP office in Sakchi and proceeded to the district collectorate. Through the Deputy Commissioner, BJP and BJYM leaders submitted a memorandum addressed to the Governor, demanding a CBI inquiry into the alleged irregularities in the 14th JPSC examination, strict action against the guilty, and the resignation of Chief Minister Hemant Soren. They also called for an impartial investigation into these alleged irregularities.
